Eloise (Davis) Martin

Wagener  – Mrs. Eloise Davis Martin, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Mrs. Martin was born in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Archie Clifton Davis and the late Estelle Williams Davis. She is preceded in death by an infant brother, her husband Brian Vincent Martin, her brothers: Jack Davis and Archie C. Davis, her sisters: Virginia Hoover Still and Iva Mae Jeffcoat, and her granddaughter: Ashley Ryan Gibson.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her three daughters: Mrs. Mary Ruth Martin Long (Danny) of Gaston, SC, Ms. Cynthia “Cyndy” Faye Martin of Lexington, SC, and Mrs. Lorranie “Lorrie” Martin Pack (Gerald) of Williston, SC. Her sister: Pasty Stevenson (Sam) of Springfield, SC, and her sister-in-law: Jackie Davis of Salley.

Her granddaughters: Danielle Denise Long, Amber Nichole Nelepovitz (Brandi), and Aeron Elizabeth Smith (Frank). Her grandson: Mason Vincent Nelepovitz, and great grandsons: Matthew, Jacob, and Lucas Smith and great granddaughter: Adalynn Grace McKenize Smith. She was also the bonus grandmother to Riley Lyon-Nelepovitz, Cayden Lyon-Nelepovitz, and Connor Lyon-Nelepovitz, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church for many years. Over the course of her life she worked at Salley Manufacturing, Tyler Brothers, and for the Aiken County Council of Aging as a Nutrition Site Manager. After her retirement she enjoyed summer evenings, fishing, camping, and reading books. Mrs. Martin loved sitting on her porch listening to her wind chimes and bird watching.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and American Cancer Society.

Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. John O'Cain will officiate.
