Ernest "Scotty" Eugene Scott, Jr.

Mr. Ernest “Scotty” Eugene Scott Jr., 49, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 16, 2022.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 29 years, Brandi Anne Painter Scott. He is the father of Devin Scott, Alyshia Scott, and Karlee Scott. Ernest is the son of Dorothy Marie Garrison Scott Heintz and Ernest Eugene Scott Sr. He is the brother of Crystal Scott.

Ernest was a mechanic for 20 years and a tree climber for 14 years. He had a deep love for the outdoors, cars, and his family. In his free time, you could find him “playing” on his heavy equipment, watching videos about tree cutting or cars, and spending time with his family. Ernest was a member and deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, also in the church. Rev. Gareth Hegler will be ministering to the family.
