Mrs. Ethel Faye Cooper Brown Jeffcoat, 73, entered into rest on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Left to cherish Faye’s memories are her husband, Gregory Eugene “Hip” Jeffcoat, son, Clint Brown and his wife Becky, daughter, Veronica Sharpe and her husband Rodger, stepchildren: Rusty Jeffcoat, Scott Jeffcoat, and Amy Sevinsky, grandchildren: Cooper Brown and his wife Addie, Lance Brown, Jodie Scott and her husband Philip, Morgan Gunter and her fiancé Dakari Dixon, and Lydia Sharpe, great grandchildren: Paul Scott, Nalah Dixon, Aaliyah Dixon, siblings: Vondell Poole, Gaynell Williamson and her husband Robert, Pansy Kime and Warren, Alton Cooper and his wife Iona, Sherman Cooper and his wife Wanda, Arlen “PeeWee” Cooper, and Cindy Fulmer and her husband Charles, her four legged baby, Shammy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Faye was born on June 30, 1952, to the late Dewey Cooper, Sr. and the late Ottie Lee Baughman Cooper. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Dewey Cooper, Jr., Beverly Galloway, and Timothy Cooper.
Faye’s most treasured title was “Nanny” given to her by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed many social graces and being the life of the party. She will be forever loved and missed.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 4 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, also at the chapel. Burial will follow at Perry Baptist Church Cemetery.
