Frances Snipes Hoffman

Mrs. Frances Snipes Hoffman, 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Mrs. Frances is the wife of Harry Hoffman, they have been married for 34 years. She is the mother of Lee Snipes and his wife Shirley, Al Hooker and his wife Renee, and John Hooker. Mrs. Frances is the stepmother of Melanie Faye Smith and her husband Keith Jones, and Shannon Joy Cooper and her husband Wayne. She is the Granny of Aaron Snipes, Avery Snipes, Clayton Hooker, Kylee Hooker, Heather Dutton and her husband Cody, Justin Hooker, Christie Smith and her husband David, Conner Jones, Hannah Cooper, Grace Cooper, and Junah Cooper. She is the great Granny of Ryder Dutton and Ella Smith.

Mrs. Frances was born in Aiken County to the late John Martin Snipes and the late Ina Rushton Snipes. She is the sister of the late Willie Lee Snipes and the late William Snipes. She is the sister-in-law of Kathy Jumper and her husband the late Larry, and Daniel Hoffman and his wife the late Diane.

Mrs. Frances was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Mrs. Frances loved her loyal four-legged companion, Rosie.

Visitation will be 1-2 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2 pm also in the chapel. Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Church 1601 St. Matthews Road Swansea, SC 29160. Rev. John O’Cain will be officiating.
