Gloria Jeane (Norris) Crapps

West Columbia – Gloria Jeane Norris Crapps, 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Gloria was born in Conway, South Carolina on August 14, 1947, to the late J. C. Norris and the late Ruthelle Rabon Norris. She was married for 44 years to the late Larry O. Crapps until his passing in 2011. She is also preceded in death by her brothers: J.C. “Jackie” Norris, Jr. and Albert Legrand Norris.

She is survived by her daughter, Joann Elizabeth Crapps Crawford, grandchildren: Sadie Crawford and Jacob Crawford, great grandchildren: Jason Paulk, Jr. and Nathaniel Paulk, in-laws: Vickie Canada and Jean Norris, many nieces and nephews including Brandi Whittenburg who selflessly donated Gloria her kidney giving her 15 years more of life.

Gloria’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing and longed to go cast her rod in Santee.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 1 pm in Edmund First Baptist Church.
