James Whitehead

Gaston – James Carlisle Whitehead, 58, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2023.

James is the father of Dustin James “DJ” Kenneth Whitehead and his wife Kyla. He loved and raised Tyson Rucker and Corey Inabinet as his own sons. He is the grandfather of Luke Whitehead and Skylar Whitehead. James was loved and raised by Kenneth and Frances Miller. He is the brother of Charles Miller and his wife Jennifer, Tonya Hallman, and Theresa Wolfe-Turner and her husband Carl. James's Niece is Kristen Wolfe. His life-long friends are Sherry Crumpton, Giselle Olsen, Bryan Mayer, Robert Ready, and Linda Green.

James enjoyed the outdoors, especially birds and plants. He was a passionate Dale Earnhardt and Clemson Tiger Football fan. James loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Dixiana Baptist Church in West Columbia, SC.
