James “Jamie” Earl Williams, 40, entered into rest on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Left to cherish James’s memories is his loving wife of 18 years, Christy Lynn Mann Williams, from Cordova, SC. They met in 2006 and now have three wonderful children: Taylor Lynn Williams, Kelly Lynn Williams, and Jamie “Bubba” Wilton Williams. James was born on June 3, 1985, to Ricky Wilton Williams and Carol Lynn Williams. He is also survived by his sister, Amber (Jonathan) Stephens, brother, Ricky (Sarenity) Wilton Williams, Jr., grandparents: Aileen Gainey, Homer (Nancy) Williams, and Linda Couillard, aunts and uncles: David (Sarah) Williams, Buddy (Patty) Williams, great aunts, Mildred “Millie” Williamson, and Sallie Poole, father-in-law, Joey Wilson, cousins: Austin Williams, Hope Reid, Purvis (Lindsey) Blizzard, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James is proceeded in death by his mother-in- law, Sharon Byrer.
James was a graduate of Wagener Salley High School and had a degree in “Jack of All Trades”. He was also known for his talent of fixing things. James could fix just about anything he put his hands on. An entrepreneur, he started many businesses including: Palmetto Bargains, Springfield Turkey Shoot, Christy’s Country Cooking, Perry Turkey Shoot, and Williams Welding and Fabrication. He had a love for sweets, especially Little Debbie Milkshakes and pineapples. James had many hobbies that kept him busy. If he didn’t have a fishing rod in his hand, you could find him at the racetrack. And you best believe James was making it to all the local car and truck shows he could. Many special memories were made with Christy and the kids on their family camping trips. Their love for James will live on with them each and every day.
