Salley – Jessie Graham Blanton, 36, entered into rest.

Jessie is the husband of Amanda Cooper Hightower Blanton. He is father of Dominick Joseph Grimes, the late Trevor Allen Blanton, Aaliyah Cheyenne Blanton, Autumn Lee Ann “Annie” Blanton, and Julia Kathleen Hightower. Jessie is the son Karen Daphne Blanton and Ernest Hollingsworth. He is the son-in-law of Kathy and Sambo Cooper. He is the brother of Brittany Leigh Hollingsworth, Adrian Blanton (Lorenzo) Hall, Aaron Blanton, and Kaitlin Nicole Blanton. He is the brother-in-law of Becky and Clint Brown. Jessie is the grandson of Eunice T. Cates, the late Arnold F. and Mary Louise Hollingsworth, the late Carol Huger Blanton, and the late Donald Eugene Cates. He is the nephew of Robert “Bob” Blanton, Gloria Blanton, and the late Hope Blanton. He is the uncle of Jordan Hall, Brooklyn Hall, Bentley Hall, Haven Hall, Cooper Brown, and Lance Brown. Jessie is the cousin of Nick (April) Blanton, Allison (David) Brunson, Breanna Blanton, and many others.

Jessie is a veteran of the United States Marines, having served in Afghanistan. He studied at Military Navy Equipment and at College of Southern Maryland. Jessie was a Rescue Tech at Urban Search and Rescue and at Marine Corp Recruited. Jessie loved painting, playing cornhole, and fishing. He enjoyed watching and playing sports. Jessie loved his family and friends. He was full of life and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church.  Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm with military honors by the United States Marine Corps.
