Lexington – Jessie Roger “J.J.” Burke, Jr. entered into rest Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Jessie is the son of Jessie Roger Burke, Sr. and the late Martha Alice Motes Burke. He is the brother of Pauline “Polly” Burke and Roger Dale Burke. Jessie is the nephew of Sarah Tucker and her husband Larry, Ernestine Motes, Patsy Burke, Lynn Burke, Teresa Motes, and Randall Wayne Burke and his wife Nancy. A few of his close friends are Gwynna Brown, Tony Sheffield, Regina Wangness, Jason Williams, Ricky Stabler, David Newman, Jack Walker, Mike Ratliff, and Rick Ratliff.

J. J. enjoyed fishing and selling things at the flea market. He collected a variety of things with a fondness to antiques.
