Jim Lybrand

Mr. James “Jim” Edward Lybrand, Jr., 55, entered into rest Thursday, October, 17 2024.

Jim was born on September 2, 1969. He is the loving son of Linda Widener Lybrand Henderson and the late James Edward Lybrand, Sr. Jim is the brother of Leigh Amiele Lybrand.  He is the nephew of Joyce Smith Suber, Clyde (Josie) Widener, Jack Widener, Carolyn (the late Robert) Widener, Joyce (the late Al) Lybrand, the late Dale Widener, and the late Artis Eugene Widener.

Jim was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church.  He retired from the Townsend Division of Graniteville Company after 15 years of service.

Many thanks to Empyrean Hospice of Aiken, SC, for the wonderful care given to Jim. Thank you to our family, friends, and awesome Aunt Joyce Smith Suber for always supporting Mamma and Leigh.  

Visitation will be 2-3 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home.  A Service Celebrating Jim’s life will follow at 3 pm.  Burial will be in Wagener Cemetery.  Rev. Chris Addy will be officiating.
