Springfield – Jimmie “Jim” Dee Stevens, Jr., 68, entered into rest on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Left to cherish Jim’s memories are his wife Sylvia Louise Teal Stevens, children: Jennifer (Aaron) Saul and Sandra Dee (Shaun) Brown, stepchildren: Kendra (Billy Anderson) Rochester, Christian (Miracle) Cargile, and Tyler Cargile, grandchildren: Hannah Parkin, Riley Saul, Sadie Brown, Christopher Brown, Hunter Brown, Logan Brown, Macy Brown, Evelyn Brown, Kelsey Rochester, Jesse Rochester, Macie Eubanks, Josie Rochester, and Lily Rochester, great grandchild, Delilah Brown, his four-legged fur companions Ollie and Molly, and his siblings: Randy Williams, Viki Garris, Steve Stevens, John Stevens, Tana Santiago.
Jim was born at Camp LaJune in Jacksonville, North Carolina to the late Bettie Jo Wynn Morris and the late Jimmie Dee Stevens, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Patty Stevens, and his stepson, Matt Arsenault.
Jim was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany.
Jim enjoyed shooting pool and taking rides on his motorcycle. He was a lover of the outdoors, spending his time hunting, fishing, and camping. His most treasured place was out on the water in his boat. Jim loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 31, 2026, 12:00 noon at Bible Church of God, 6330 Washington St, Union City, GA 30291. The U. S. Army will render military honors.
