Wagener – John Harvey Garrison, 75, entered into rest on Friday, February 18, 2022.

John is the husband of Orangelee Davis Garrison, they have been married for 2 years. He is the father of Julie Defore and her husband Terry. He is the grandfather of 15 which includes Gertie Thompson and her husband Joe, and Trenton Wade Barton, great grandfather of 25, and great great grandfather of 10. John is the son of the late John “Johnny” Clayton Garrison and the late Mildred Sue Hill Garrison. He is the brother of Ernest “Ernie” Garrison, Jackie B. Garrison, Billy E. Garrison and his wife Wanda, James “Jim” D. Garrison and his wife Virginia Showers, and the late Thelma Jean Garrison. John is nephew of Frances Scruggs, Nancy Hill, and Joe Hill. He is the son-in-law of Brenda Joyce Stovall, John is the brother-in-law of Geraldine Bush, Alex J. Sutton, Henry C. Davis, and Travis Davis. He has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John is a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marines Corps. He is a member of the Disabled American Veterans. John was a truck driver. His fur babies are Percy, Presley, little Bonnie, Smurfette, Bruno, and Princess.

Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Earle Church of God.  Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm  also at Earle Church of God.  Burial with Military Honors will be at Darien Baptist Church Cemetery, 1362 Hatchaway Bridge Road, Aiken, SC.  Rev. Ronald Lee is ministering to the family.
