John Andrew Wise

Mr. John Andrew Wise, 70, entered into rest Friday, February 13, 2026.

John is the father of Daphnie Hallman and her husband Ricky and Lacey Sightler and her husband Ty. He is the grandfather of Russ (McCella Martin) Allen, Jr. and Daigan Hallman, great-grandfather of Briar Allen and Kapers Allen.

He is the brother of Syliva Moore, Linda Carpenter, the late Willie Wise, and the late Don Wise.

John was born on March 27, 1955, to the late Homer Asmond Wise and the late Mildred Shumpert Wise. He was a jack of all trades and a knower of all things. He enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting deer, farming, and working with his hands. John was a welder who enjoyed fixing and creating. He also had a passion for old cars. A man of few words, he was intentional.

Visitation will be 5:30-7 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home.
