Pelion – John Stephen “Willy” Williams, 65, entered into rest Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Willy is the husband of Amanda Kay Millay Williams. They have been married thirty-five years. He is the loving father of Kristina Williams of Columbia and Megan Williams of Pelion. Willy is the Grandpa of Marleigh MacDonald and Pawpaw of Dakota Forrester. He is the brother of Ronald Wayne Williams and his wife Elaine of Owensboro, KY, Mary Ruth Williams of Swansea, Debra Jean Williams of Orangeburg, his “Uncle-Brother” Tony Epley and his wife Angela of Central City, KY, and the late Billy Franklin Williams. Willy is the son of the late William McKinley Williams, Jr. and the late Virginia Dean Epley Williams. Willy also leaves behind his pet dog, D2. He is the son-in-law of Gordon William Millay and his wife Mary Evelyn Howard Millay of Whitesville, KY. Willy is the brother-in-law of Lorna Lanham and her husband Gene of Knottsville, KY, Jean Wellman of St. Louis, MO, Mary Beth Millay of Mayfield, KY, Bill Millay and his wife Connie of Falls of Rough, KY, Joe Millay and his wife Kim of Fordsville, KY, Melissa Payne of Owensboro, KY, and the late Danny Millay of Whitesville, KY. He also has countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Willy graduated from Bremen High School in Bremen, KY. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Willy was a Superintendent with several commercial construction companies, mainly in South Carolina and Florida.

Willy never met a stranger. He was the “life of the party” with his outgoing personality. Willy had a love for classic cars and enjoyed working on his many projects.

Willy will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A Service to Celebrate Willy’s life will be held at a later date with military honors.
