Perry – Mr. Johnnie Ray Dempsey, 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 7, 2021
Johnnie was the father of John Eric Dempsey and his wife Joyce of Penn Valley, CA and Anna Ray Dempsey Lutz of Norfolk, VA. He was the grandfather of Virginia Dempsey, Aubree Dempsey, Johnie Dempsey, Joshua Dempsey, Henry Lutz, and Vivien Lutz. He was the brother of Clyde Dempsey, Sr., Diane Dempsey, Lester Dempsey and his wife Hilda, Tammy Niblet and her husband Kevin.
Johnnie was the son of the late Clyde Earl Dempsey and the late Dewey Mae Maroney Dempsey.
Johnnie will be remembered for the friendly way he engaged with the people who crossed his path. He was hard-working and diligent. He valued integrity. He was very proud of all of his grand-children. Johnnie loved quality time with others and sharing jokes and stories. He was a joyful singer.
