Pelion – Mr. Johnnie Nathaniel Toole, Sr, 89, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2023, joining his beloved wife, Eugenia Margaret “Jeannie” Manuel Toole.
Mr. Johnnie is the father of Margie Leigh Toole Corbitt (the late Jack Corbitt), Miranda “Mandy Toole Rawls (Stanley), Lucienda “Cindy” Toole Black (the late Keith Black), and the late Johnnie “Jay” Nathaniel Toole, Jr.
He is the grandfather of Jason Robert Toole (Krystal), Stanley C. Rawls, Jr., Gerald Ross Hutto, Johnnie “Jay” N. Toole, III (Ashley), Avrol “Lori” Black Brooks (Stephen), and yAaron Keith Black (Heather). Mr. Johnnie is the great grandfather of Aaron Keith “A.K.” Black III, Marcus James Brooks, Charleston Elaine Black, Josie Mae Black, Jason Brett Toole, Hunter Cade Toole, Jaylee Toole, and Jake Toole. He is the brother of Martha Jo Moser (late Robert “Bob”), Betty T. Davis (late Paul), Boyce Edgar Toole (Vicki), the late Raymond Toole (late Susie), the late Paul Toole (late Ressie), the late Stacey LeJune Toole (late Evelyn), the late Lester Toole (late Yvonne), the late Robert “Bob” Lee Toole, Jr. (late Bobbie Ann), the late Bonnie T. Nettles (late Mitchell “Gilly”), the late Samuel Toole (late Sylvia), and the late Billy Lee Toole, Sr. Mr. Johnnie has many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Johnnie was a member of Christ Sanctified Holy Church in West Columbia. He was recently attending Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He worked construction as a pipefitter before retiring. Mr. Johnnie loved talking about old vehicles, and past experiences.
Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2023 from 2 pm to 3 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm also in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Salley Oakview Cemetery Salley, SC. Rev. Johnny Slice will be ministering to the family.
Pallbearers will be Jason Robert Toole, Johnnie “Jay” Toole, III., Aaron Keith Black, Jr., Stephen Michael Brooks, Jason “Brett” Toole and Hunter “Cade” Toole.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Lexington Medical Center, 2720 Sunset Blvd. West Columbia SC 29169.
