Wagener – Mr. Johnny “John” William Logan, 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Left to cherish John’s memories are his wife of 22 years, Pamela “Pam” Harrison Logan, children: Johnnie McNece and her husband Howard, Joseph “Joey” McDougal, Jr., Katlyn (T.J. Blackmer) Day, and Lynsey Day, siblings: Georgia Fay Porter, Darlene Logan Conyer, and Cora Logan Lunny, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, mother-in-law, Bobbie Harrison Cook, and in-laws, Robin Shiffner and her husband Jeff and Teresa Toole and her husband Ronnie, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was born on March 16, 1945, in Clinton, Tennessee to the late Arthur Logan, Sr. and the late Edna Elizabeth Golden Logan. He is also preceded in death by his son, Timothy Logan, siblings: Arthur Logan, Jr., Betty Jo Emert, Dorothy Taylor, and Nellie Ford, father-in-law, Robert Lee Harrison, step father-in-law, Lyman Cook, and brother-in-law, Stewart Harrison, Sr.
John served his country proudly for 27 years, having served in the United States Army as a “Chopper Pilot” and in the United States Air Force where he fought in the Vietnam war. John enjoyed the outdoors where he often spent time fishing and gardening. He and Pam enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their grandchildren. John was well known for his Tennessee twang and his unique sayings. He will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Memorials in John’s honor may be given to Seivern Baptist Church Youth Fund.
Visitation will be 1-2 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Seivern Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 2:30 pm also in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.
