Salley – Joseph “Joey” Henry Evans, 59 entered into rest Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Joey was the father of Joseph Brandon Evans and his wife Beth of Hopemills N. C. and Brittany Lynn Evans of Summerville, SC. He is the grandfather of LeAnn Nicole Evans. He was the son of Harold Walter Evans, Sr. and the late Frances Ella Harris Evans. Joey was the brother of Deborah Poole and her husband Sean of Salley, Larry Evans of Salley, Daniel Evans and his wife Stacy Lynn of Summerville, Mary Elizabeth Koon and her husband David of Summerville, and the late Harold Walter Evans, Jr. Joey is the uncle of James McNamar, Emily Koon, Larry Ellisor, Terron Miller, and Cara Grooms.

Joey was a carpenter. He loved to hunt and fish. Joey was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed cooking out and sitting by a good fire.

A service is being planned by Joey’s family to celebrate his life.
