Kelly Cribb Obituary

Kelly Dozier Cribb, 60, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, from an unexpected heart attack. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community. Kelly received his call from Our Father to come home with his hand held high in praise.  He was a light in a dark world.  He answered the Lord’s call without hesitation as he had done so many times over the years. After he gave his heart and soul to the Lord, His mission in life was to share the love and Word with anyone that would listen.  His passion of lately has been with the School Time Bible sharing the Word with the children of the Pelion community.  You rarely saw Kelly without a smile and a bear hug.  Kelly loved everyone and everyone loved him.  His passing will leave a huge hole in our lives, but we know he reached his final destination and is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ telling Him how much he loves Him.

Matthew 5:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Kelly was the only son and joy of Ernest Lester and Verlie Flanders Cribb.  He was the husband and true soul mate to Dennese Cribb who he adored.  He was a dad to one child, Emily Josephine Cribb (William) to whom he gave his heart the moment she was placed in his arms.  He could not have loved her more.  She was his everything and a true gift from God.  Kelly opened his heart again to his granddaughter Mylah Marie who brought a ray of sunshine to his life. His grandson Dakota Jay who aspires to be just as strong and God loving as his PopPop was.  He also leaves behind the broken hearts of those who loved him and were loved by him, his stepchildren and families Tianya Malama (Kuna) with her 4 children and Tiore Taufa Malia (Lisiate) and her 4 children, his sister Dana Dickerson (Wayne), niece Chantel Stafford (Ward), and great niece and nephew Kristen Smith and Austin Primm. Last, but not least, the dog who was everything he “never” wanted in a dog, his buddy Scooter

Kelly graduated from Brookland Cayce High School and worked at Columbia Supply, Owens Supply, Cameron Barkley/Hagemyer, The Harvest Church, and City Electric of Lexington.
