Kenneth “Kenny” Bryant Devore, Sr.

Salley – Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Bryant Devore, Sr, 91, entered into rest Tuesday, February 15, 2022. 

Kenny is the husband for 42 years of the late Iva Louise Meadows Devore. He is the father of Bobbie Glassman, the late Brenda Kay Devore, and Kenneth B. Devore, Jr., He is the grandfather of Dylan Glassman and Jacob Glassman.  Mr. Kenny is the brother of Shara Jean and her husband Shiloh Brewer, the late William D. Devore, the late Dillard Devore, Jr.   He is the son of the late Dillard Devore and Dolly Stewart Humble.

Mr. Kenny is retired from the State of SC Highway Department.  After he retired, Mr. Kenny worked at Cooper’s Creek Golf course.  He helped them with their grounds and maintenance.  

Mr. Kenny was a hardworking man and a good friend to many.  He loved to garden, plant vegetables, tend to his Daylilies and share the harvest of his hard work.  He enjoyed spending time with his dog “Buddy” and fishing.

A Graveside memorial service will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
