Lane O'Neal Padgett

Pelion – Lane O’Neal Padgett, 56, entered into rest on Sunday November 29, 2020.

Lane is the father of Tabitha Marie Padgett and the late Timothy “Tim” Lane Padgett and his wife Rayanna Lee East Padgett. He is the grandfather of Madalyn Leigh Padgett and Collin Lane Padgett. Lane is the son of Cheryl Hyman and her husband Jim, the late O’Neal Lorett Padgett. Lane is the brother of Renee Cooper and her husband Pat, and Jill Hicks and her husband Allen. He is the son-in-law of Juanita Tindal and the late Claude Tindal. Lane is the brother-in-law of Baron Tindal and his wife Dot, and Claudia Hoffman and her husband Mark. He is the uncle of William Dunaway, Samantha Dunaway, Thadd Smith and his wife Chelsea, Taylor Coggins and her husband Matt, Warren Deaver, Jilliyn O’Daniel, Brantley Hicks, Addilynn Hicks, William-O’Neal Hicks Little Allen”, Travis Tindal, Jason Tindall and his wife Barbara, Anthony Davis and his wife Nan, Justin Jernigan and his wife Nikki, and Katelyn Jernigan.  Lane has many family and friends who loved him so much. Tabitha’s and Tim’s mother is Tina Marie Tindal Padgett.

Lane was employed by Diamond Pet Foods for ten years. He was hard working and instilled a good work ethic to those around him. Lane helped anyone he could as he was able to fix just about anything. He loved to hunt and fish. Lane enjoyed having a good time whether working or playing.  He also enjoyed Clemson Tiger football games. Lane loved his family very much and was known to enjoy giving candy and toys to the younger children. He was also known to display his attitude with others when his patience had passed.

A Service Celebrating Lane’s Life will be at 4:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Rev. Chris Addy will be ministering. Visitation will follow also in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
