Larry Poole

Pelion – Mr. James Larry Poole, Sr., 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Left to cherish Mr. Larry’s life is his son, Larry “Bubba” Poole, Jr. and his wife Debbie and his daughter, Kim Kneece and her husband Richard; his grandchildren, Sarah Poole, Beth Poole, Caleb Kneece, Andrew Kneece and his wife Dori, and Mark Kneece and his wife Caycee; great grandson, Brantley Kneece; his brothers, Wayne Poole and his wife Mildred, and Nelson Poole and his wife Ruth, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Larry was married to the late Louise Fulmer Poole for 43 years until her passing in 2007. He is the son of the late John Benjamin Poole and the late Lois Juanita Starnes Poole.

Mr. Larry was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He loved serving others. Mr. Larry retired as an Electrician. He was a member of IBEW Local #382 and #1579.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. A Service Celebrating Mr. Larry’s life will be 4:30 pm on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with Pastor Joshua Goldsberry officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
