Pelion – Laurance “Larry” Roberts Shafer, 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
Larry was born in New London, Connecticut to the late Marjorie Jane Roberts Shafer and the late Clayton Stuart Shafer.
Larry is survived by his cousins; Ken Edward Smoak, Ann Smoak, Lynn Roberts, as well as many other cousins, loyal friend from Connecticut Ronald “Ron” D. Baldwin, godson; Tyler V. Baldwin and his wife Brittnee, and his four-leg companion; Missy.
Larry worked as an Office Associate for Water Utilities in Connecticut. He enjoyed watching westerns, football, basketball, and NASCAR.
Larry was a Mason with the Blythewood Lodge # 395 and a Shriner with Jamil Temple of Columbia.
Graveside service will be 11 am on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pastor Matt Miller will be officiating.
