Laurine (Carver) Vance

Wagener- Laurine Carver Vance, 89, entered into rest Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Laurine is the mother of the late Kay Gilreath.  She is the grandmother of Sabrena Laurine Bouknight and her husband Thomas.  She is the great grandmother of Dylan Rawls and LeAnn Rawls.  Laurine is the sister of Ed Carver and his wife Fran, Shelby Smith and her husband the late Kenneth Smith, the late Carrie Tindal and her husband the late JC, and the late Henry Carver.  She is the daughter of the late George Clyde Carver and the late Beatrice Rushton Carver. Laurine has many nieces and nephews.

Laurine is a member of Bethcar Baptist Church.  She retired from Hickman Mills of Graniteville where she worked as a weaver.

The family would like to thank the staff of Caryle Senior Care of Aiken and care giver Jan Kuhns.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Bethcar Baptist Church.  Memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm also in the church sanctuary.  Rev. Chris Addy will be ministering to the family.
