Linda June (Hawkes) Albert

Mrs. Linda June Hawkes Albert, 67, ascended into Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Mrs. Linda is the wife of Rayfield Albert, Sr. They had been married for 40 years at his passing in 2022. She is the mother of Rayfield “Ray” Albert, Jr. and his wife Brandy, David Lynn Albert, and Sharae Denise Staley and her husband Ronald. Mrs. Linda is the “Grandma” of Ra’shon David Staley, Kalina Rayelle Albert, Karina Rose Albert, Keson Maurice Staley, Tymir Jahiem Staley, Rayfield “Tripp” Albert, III, Dresean Jayveon Staley, Shymir Daron Staley, and Dayveon Tyrese Staley. She is the sister of Jonathan Hawkes and the late Derrick Smith. She has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Linda was born on January 30, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Sherman Hawkes, Jr. and the late Alice Smith Hawkes.

Mrs. Linda was a woman of faith; she spent much of her time reading the Bible and listening to gospel music. She was also a Prayer Warrior for her church, To God Be The Glory. To know her was to love her. She had a great sense of humor and brought much joy to her friends and family. Mrs. Linda’s most treasured blessing was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Linda was an avid coffee drinker. She also enjoyed watching her “soaps” and playing Call of Duty with her family. She will be forever loved and missed.
