Linda (Holifield) Bledsoe

Wagener – Mrs. Linda Holifield Bledsoe, 69, went home to be with Jesus Friday, January 14, 2022.

Mrs. Linda is the wife of Ernie Michael Bledsoe. She is the loving mother of Michelle Bledsoe and Shanna Bledsoe Matthews and her husband Dexter. Mrs. Linda is the MiMi of Jeremy Lane Matthews and Libby “Sunshine” Joelle Matthews. She is the daughter of Ruby Hydrick Holifield Boyd and the late Joe Pat Holifield. She is the stepdaughter of the late Jimmy Boyd. Mrs. Linda is the sister of Angela Jo Davis and her husband Aaron, and Pamela Kay Fischbach and her fiancé Brian Bouchillon. She is the sister-in-law of Lavern Bledsoe and his wife Alcyon, and Ronnie Bledsoe.

Mrs. Linda is a member of Seivern Baptist Church. Linda was a wonderful wife to Ernie for 49 years. They had the greatest love story. She and Ernie raised two beautiful daughters whom she cherished. She was blessed with a wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren who adored her.

Linda was the life of the party. She never met a stranger and she let her life reflect the love of Jesus. Her vibrancy for life diminished as her health got worse, but she pushed through the pain so that she could enjoy her time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seivern Baptist Church 1335 Seivern Road, Wagener, SC 29164.

Visitation will be 1-2:30 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Seivern Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 3 pm also in the sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Gerry Williams and Rev. Milford Oswald will be ministering.
