Linda Stone

Mrs. Linda Evans Stone (80) entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Linda is the wife of the late Gerald Wayne Stone. Born in Kermit, WV, the daughter of the late William B. VanLear and Goldie Copley VanLear. Linda was preceded in death by her brother Harry Jack Evans and sister Mary Elizabeth VanKirk.  She leaves behind her two children, Larry Marine (Dawn) and Laurie Lawhorn; Her three grandchildren Britney Temple (Justin), Hunter Lawhorn, Shelby Werda and soon to be great granddaughter, Eliza Jane Temple. She also leaves behind extended family, Eddie Stone (Celeste), Bryant Stone (Mandy), Michael Stone and numerous nieces, nephews, and distant relatives.

Linda retired from the V.A Hospital after many years of dedicated service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Agape Hospice House for their care and compassion throughout this difficult time.

The family will honor Linda’s life with a private service.
