Mrs. Lois Ann Snyder Isiminger, 91, entered into rest on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Mrs. Lois is the mother of David M. Isiminger, Jr. and his wife Kim, Christine Ann Isiminger Butler and her husband Tommy. She is the grandmother of Thomas N. Butler, Jr. (Melissa), Peter D. Butler, Ashley I. Creely (Christopher), and Benjamin D. Isiminger. She is the great grandmother of Elijah Thomas Butler, Aidan Christopher Creely, Bonnie Elizabeth Creely, Mary-Lois Hazel Creely, Evelyn Jude Creely, and David Albert Creely. Mrs. Lois is the wife of the late David M. Isiminger, Sr. She is the daughter of the late Christine Elizabeth Dittman Snyder and the late Charles Edwin “Charlie” Snyder. She is the sister of the late Charles M. “Pete” Snyder, Washington, PA and the late Helen Snyder Register, Placentia, CA.
Lois and David were married in Marshall, Texas in 1950. After he graduated from Texas A&M, they followed his DuPont career to Seattle, Washington; Newark, Delaware; Charleston, West Virginia; and finally Aiken. Mrs. Lois was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church. She had been a member of the church choir since 1984. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Job’s Daughters, the Newark High School Booster Club and Carolina Squares Dance Club. Mrs. Lois volunteered for many years at ACTS.
The family will have a private service to lay her to rest beside her husband.
