Lounette Clara (Wood) Chew

Graniteville – Lounette Clara Wood Chew, 63, formerly of Wagener, gained her angel wings on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Lounette is the mother of Crystal Creel and her husband Calvin, and Katie Lynn Chew. She is the grandmother of Dalton Creel and Brady Creel. Lounette is the daughter of the late Earline Rushton Wood and the late Ernest Dan Wood. She is the sister of Tina Gibbons and her husband Ernie, Marlene Brown and her husband the late Mike, and the late John “Bubba” Wood and his wife Diane. Chuck Sharpe is like a brother.

Lounette was a very loving lady. She loved her daughters and her grandboys were the apple of her eye. She enjoyed going to the beach, it was her happy place.

Visitation will be 2-3 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Service Celebrating Lounette’s life will follow at 3 pm also in the chapel.
