Lula Bell (Cooper) Senn

Mrs. Lula Bell Cooper Senn, 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Lula is the wife of the late Edward Senn.  She is the loving mother of Buster Gleaton and his wife Cindy, Ricky Gleaton, Sr. and his partner Linda Smith, Gail Hair and her husband Mike, and Cindy Jeffcoat and her husband Johnny, Jr. She is the Granny of Toni Gallop and her husband Harley, Jason Gleaton and his wife Darla, Jeremy Gleaton, Hallie Shannon and her husband Justin, Rick Gleaton, Jr. and his wife Carmen, Christy Burkett and her husband Chuckie, Shawn Gleaton, Savannah Gleaton, Jeffery Hair, Jr. and his wife Mesha, the late Christopher Hair, Tracy Hobbs and her husband Chris, Kimberly Carey and her husband Chris, Amy Jeffcoat, Jennifer Starnes and her husband Julian, Angela Williams and her husband Chris, John Jeffcoat, III and his partner Brittany Arthurs.

Lula is the great Granny of Harley Gallop and his wife Emily, Ryan Gallop, Kayla Gallop, Chase Gallop, Brayden Gleaton, Kolton Gleaton, Kinsley Gleaton, Jordan Burkett, Chance Burkett, Avery Burkett, Harper Gleaton, J.J. Hair and his wife Bonai, Christian Hair, Julia Hightower, Kyle Hair, Preston Hair, Trevor Hair, C.J. Hair, Payton Yon, Paxton Yon, Alexis Hobbs, Khloe Carey, Kailey Carey, Ashlyn Rawls and her fiancé Dalton Fields, Jenna Shealy and her husband Derek, Gaige Starnes, Gracie Starnes, Gavin Starnes, Landon Williams, and Easton Williams. She is the great great Granny of Austyn Gallop, Clairabell Shealy, Cassidy Shealy, and Rhett Shealy. Lula is the daughter of the late Annie Lula Cooper the late Raymond Cooper. She is the last living sibling of 7, her siblings were: J.R. Cooper, Otis Cooper, Mary Ellen Jeffcoat, Myra Poole, Rachel Poole, and Katie Ruth Hamilton.  

Mrs. Lula’s family was extremely important to her. She was blessed to be actively involved with 4 generations. She was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Lula loved her fur babies.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dawn, Josephine, Janice, and Alicia with Amedisys Hospice.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Funeral Service will be 4 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Perry Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. John O’Cain will be officiating.
