Ms. Macy J. Williams Taylor, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Left to cherish Ms. Macy’s memories are her daughter, Jeanie Rish and her husband Dennis, stepsons, Eddie Taylor and Jerry Taylor, her grandchildren; Crystal Laymon and her husband Donnie, Holly Jeffcoat and her husband Glen, and Stacey Taylor, great grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Christopher Rish, Allison Taylor, and Robert Poston, sister, Nancy Dodd, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ms. Macy was born on February 2, 1938, in Winnsboro, SC, to the late Sammy Eli Williams and the late Charlotte Arcilla Marshall Williams. Ms. Macy is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, John E. Taylor, daughter, Catherine Rabon, son, George Rabon, grandson, Christopher “Chris” Taylor, sister, Ann Warren, and her four-legged best friend, Jack.
Ms. Macy enjoyed camping and spending time on the water with a fishing rod in her hand. She was an avid Clemson fan.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the Alzheimer’s Care Unit of LMC Extended Care and PruittHealth Hospice of Aiken for the care given to Ms. Macy.
Visitation will be 1 - 2pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2 pm also in the chapel. Burial will follow at Convent Baptist Church Cemetery where Ms. Macy will be laid to rest next to her late husband, John.
