Margaret Lucille (Gantt) Gray

Fairview – Ms. Margaret Lucille Gantt Gray, 92, ran into the arms of Jesus early Tuesday morning, June 2, 2026.

Ms. Margaret was born on July 17, 1933, to the late Margaret “Maggie” Lovenia Gunter Gantt and the late Joseph Franklin “Frank” Gantt, II. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lester “Les” Lewis Gray, daughter, Judy Ann Gray Pound, son, Michael Everette Gray, siblings: Jeanette and Robert Gantt, David and Joann Gantt, Joseph Gantt, and Callie and Sandra Gantt.

Ms. Margaret is survived by her grandchildren: Amanda “Mandy” Rae Jones and Heather Gray Barton and her husband Jonathan, great grandchildren: Naudica Barton, Zoe Barton, Carly Barton, Taylor Barbirina, Ali McDuffy, and James McDuffy.

Ms. Margaret was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and helped in the nursery. She was a member of the widow’s club. Ms. Margaret enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, reading, and completing puzzles. She had a green thumb for house plants and flowers. Ms. Margaret loved cooking for family and company. She loved Jesus and her family.

A Celebration of Life is being planned to be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church and will be announced.
