Marie Cecilia (Voisine) Lefrancois

Lexington – Mrs. Marie Cecilia Voisine Lefrancois, 75, entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Mrs. Marie is the wife of Arthur “Art” Joseph Lefrancois, Sr. They have been married fifty-five years. She is the mother of Arthur J. Lefrancois, Jr. and his fiancé Dana Dyches, and Michele Ouellette and her husband Paul. Mrs. Marie is the grandmother “mére” of Jessica Lefrancois Mumley and her husband Bill, Sarah Lefrancois, Nicholas Lefrancois, Marco Quental, Jacob Quental, Bethani Ouellette, and Grace Ouellette. She is the great grandmother “grand mére” of Alena Quental, Colby Mumley, and Lucas Quental. Mrs. Marie is the daughter of the late Donat Voisine and the late Blandine Marie Sauicer Voisine. She is the sister of Shirley Cyr, Natalie Noble, Marie Secondo, the late Norman Voisine, the late Corine Voisine, the late Priscilla Paradise, and the late Herbert Doustou.

Mrs. Marie was born in Fort Kent, Maine. She was the office manager partnering with her husband in A&R Steel Erectors, Inc. and she owned her own business cleaning homes. Mrs. Marie and Mr. Art lived in Connecticut for most of their married life until moving to the Lexington area two years ago to get away from the snow. They both enjoyed exercising and short excursions with friends Paul and Robin learning new shops and eateries. Mrs. Marie was a Christian who shared her love for Christ by her smile warm personality, and her loving heart. That Christian love led her and Art into raising many foster children. Carol and Melissa are just two of the fifty-four that remain in this area and stayed in contact.

The family will plan a service for a time to be announced later.
