Mark Hughes

Stephen Mark Hughes, 64, entered into rest Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Mark is the son of Ruth Brazell Hughes and the late James Morris “Workhorse” Hughes. He is the father of Joshua Aaron Hughes, Stephen Mark Hughes, Jr., Chelsea Nicole Hughes, and the late Mary Elizabeth Hughes. Mark is the grandfather of Zachary, Hailery, Hayden, Kaiden, Raegin, and MaLeigna. He is the brother of Mitchell Hughes, Jennifer Renee’ DiMauro, and the late Randy Hughes. Adelene Hughes is the mother of Joshua, Stephen, and Mary. Terry Stewart is the mother of Chelsea. Mark’s special friend is Donna Williams who took good care of him. Mark was preceded in death by his nephew Talton Randolph “Randy” Hughes.   He had many nieces and nephews.  Mark also had many cousins. 

Mark loved all kinds of music and was a very talented musician.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. also in the chapel with the Rev. David Fields officiating.  Burial will follow at Wagener Cemetery.
