Melinda Faye Williams

Wagener – Melinda Faye Williams, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Melinda was married to the late Mickey Ezell Williams. She is the mother of Amanda “Mandi” Johnson Steffy and her husband Loy, Kaylla Renea Sturkie and her husband Trevor “TJ”, and Kimberly Williams Reid and her husband Richard "Peter". Melinda is the grandmother of Dylan Johnson, Sierra Hurt and her husband Brenden, Nathan Goucher, Taygen Goucher, Brantley Steffy, Terez Steffy, Alexis Hiers, Indianna Hiers, Joey Hiers Jr., Kismet Sturkie, Richard Reid, and Peter Reid. She is the daughter of Linda Faye Rawls Couillard and Homer Williams and his wife Nancy. She is the sister of Carol Williams and her husband Ricky and Sarah Williams and her husband David. Melinda has many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Melinda loved her family. She was a breast cancer and brain cancer survivor for many years. Melinda loved the Lord and Gospel music. She had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. Melinda was a very strong woman.

Visitation will be 1:30-3:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm also in the chapel. Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery.
