Mickey was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having served in the 82nd Airborne Division in 1970 to 1974. He graduated from bootcamp as an E4 and continued skydiving with his paratrooper colleagues. He was a “lifetime” Mason having been a member of Cedar Lodge #184 where he served previously as Grand Master. Mickey was a member of the IBEW Local Union 776 throughout his sixty plus year career as an electrician. He made countless friends across the country as he traveled for work with the union. The “brotherhood” was always very special and supportive for him and his family. Mickey was devoted to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who affectionately called him Poppie. He will be forever loved and missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mickey’s honor to Clinton Methodist Church or Masonic Cedar Lodge #184.
Visitation will be 3-4 pm Friday, May 15, 2026, at Clinton Methodist Church. Memorial Service will follow at 4 pm also in the church sanctuary with Military Honors and Masonic Rites.
