Mike Hilburn Batchelor

Salley – Mr. Mike Hilburn Batchelor, 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Mike is the loving husband of Jo Ann Williams Batchelor. They have been married for 29 years. He is the father of Tammy Batchelor, Michael Batchelor and his wife Nikki, and Vikki Tyler and her husband Trent. Mike is the Papa of Caitlin Poole and her husband Johnathon, Taylor Baughman and her husband Tracy, Elizabeth Batchelor, and Zoe Tyler. He is the Papa Mike of RaeLynn Poole, Dallis Kate Poole, Deacon Poole, Auden Anderson, Holden Anderson, Heath Baughman, and Lily Ann Baughman. Mike is the son of the late Merrill Batchelor and the late Orine and Glen Casey. He is brother of Gene Batchelor and his wife Margaret, Ray Casey and his wife Vernelle, Debbie Farr and her husband Frankie. Mike is the brother-in-law of Gloria Coleman and her husband James, Wayne Williams and his wife Nora, Jeanie Cook and her husband J.C., Benjamin Williams and his wife Sharon, and the late Linda Holmes. Mike has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church where he faithfully attended. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Mike enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was the rock of his family. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mike was loved by many and he loved so many.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2-3:30 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 3:30 pm also in the church sanctuary with the Rev. John O’Cain ministering. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
