Patricia Ann Williams Rucker

Pelion- Mrs. Patricia Ann “Dooze” Williams Rucker, 80, entered into rest Friday, January 27, 2023.

Mrs. Patricia was married to the late Gentry Wayne Rucker for 52 years. She is the mother of Melynda Rucker Payne and her husband Dwaine, Michael Wayne Rucker, Tony Ryan Rucker and his wife Lynn, David Brian Rucker, and the late Lisa Angela Rucker. Mrs. Patricia is the grandmother of Melissa Rucker Corley and her husband Jamie, Cassie Rucker Kincaid and her husband Quad, Lindsay Rucker and her fiancé Bastien Bacro-Duverger, Makayla Payne Floyd and her husband Brett, Morgan Payne, Taylor Rucker and her fiancé Donnie Driggers, and Ryan Rucker. She is the great grandmother of Lisa Marie Corley, Connor Wayne Corley, Kaya Aeris Kincaid, Remy Decker Kincaid, Isla Rose Kincaid, Donald Edward Driggers IV, and Saylor Ann Driggers. Mrs. Patricia is the daughter of the late Cassie Mae Poole Williams and the late David Middleton Williams. She is the sister of Mary Lee Raley and her husband the late Jerome.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The Rucker family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Sherry Branham, Mary “Cissy” Cooper, and Wanda Sightler for the care they’ve shown to Mrs. Patricia.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be 3 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at King Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
