Patti Wandel Murphy

Patti Wandel Murphy went peacefully to meet her Lord on Monday, December 26, 2022.

Patti was the daughter of the late Frances Roe and William Gustav Wandel and she was the mother of David Moreland Murphy and Richard Irwin Murphy.

Patti was born in Toledo, Ohio and spent many years of her life in Ohio.  She spent the last twelve years of her life in South Carolina living in the Wagener-Salley area. 

Patti held a Bachelors and Masters Degree in teaching and she spent the better part of her life as a teacher.  Late in life she provided caregiving to the elderly.

Patti is survived by her sons David Moreland Murphy and Richard Irwin Murphy, David’s wife Linda and Richard’s wife Christa, her granddaughters Lisa Carol Murphy, Heather Louise Murphy, and Reva Imily Murphy, and her great grandchildren Gabrielle Oneal McCabe and Michael Richard McCabe.
