Peggy Joyce (Corbett) Douglas

Salley- Mrs. Peggy Joyce Corbett Douglas, 76, entered into rest Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Mrs. Peggy is the wife of Tommy Tyrone Douglas. They have been married for 56 years. She is the mother of Robert Douglas and his wife Debra, Tony Douglas and his wife Patty, Steve Douglas and his wife Stefanie, and the late Keith Eugene Douglas. Mrs. Peggy is the grandmother of Amanda Lane and Daniel Douglas, Andrea Lane and Justin Lock, Dylan Skylar Douglas, Winston Keith Douglas, Ellie Douglas, and H.J. Douglas. She is the great grandmother of Ian Kennedy, Preston Kennedy, Madison Kennedy, Abigail Lock, Layla Douglas, and Shane Douglas. Mrs. Peggy is the sister-in-law of Michael Allen Douglas and his wife Nona, Julian Robert “Doug” Douglas and his wife Erma, and the late Wade Douglas.

Memorials may be made to Clinton United Methodist Church or Amedisys Hospice. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Amedisys Hospice.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be 4 p.m. Monday May 10, 2021 at Clinton United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Andrea III, Rev. Butch Blackwell, and Rev. Virgil Parsons ministering. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peggy will be laid to rest by her son Keith.
