Aiken, SC—Memorial Services for Mr. Ralph E. Day, 77, who entered into rest June 18, 2018, will be conducted Saturday, June 30 at Memorial Baptist Church, Aiken SC at 2:00 pm. Rev. Charles Jenkins will be officiating.
Mr. Day was born February 23, 1941, in Aiken County. He was a life time resident of Aiken and served in the military as a Medical Specialist in the Army, stationed out of Fort Bragg, NC from 1966 - 1972. He was the manager of the A&P Grocery Store and later retired from Richmond Supply Company, August, GA after many years of service. He was a long time member of Memorial Baptist Church in Aiken, SC.
Mr. Day was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie E. Day; his father, Harry L. Day; his mother, Ruby L. Aull and his brother David Harry “Demp” Day.
Survivors include brothers, JR Youngblood, Colorado Springs, CO, Neal Youngblood, Columbia, SC and David Wayne Youngblood, Columbia, SC; and a sister, Carolyn Swindle, Aiken, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Vaucluse Road, Aiken, SC.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
