Regina (Koon) Shealy

Aiken – Mrs. Regina Koon Shealy, 56, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Regina is the loving and devoted wife of Thomas Darrell Shealy. They have been married for 38 wonderful years. She is the loving mother of CPT. Thomas Ryan Shealy, D.M.D. and his wife Rachel Elyse of Tokyo, Japan, Christopher “Chris” Drake Shealy and his wife Summer Nicole of Raleigh, North Carolina, Joshua Aaron Shealy and his wife Mariah of Aiken, South Carolina, and Justin Andrew Shealy and his wife Elizabeth of Charlotte, North Carolina. Regina is the “Mema” of Jonah Leonidas “Leo” Shealy, Kaleia Reese Shealy, Jude Maddox Shealy, Willow Rose Shealy, Silver Arabelle Shealy, and Asher James Shealy. She is the sister of Ann West and her husband Doug of Graniteville, Robert Koon, Jr. and his wife Holley of Aiken, Daniel Koon and his wife Renee of North Augusta. Regina is the daughter in law of Faye “Nanny Faye” Shealy and the late Thomas Delano Shealy. She was born in Aiken County to the late Robert Jerry Koon, Sr. and Peggy Jean Cox Koon. Regina has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Regina was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church of God. Regina was an employee of Coca-Cola United for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The beach was her favorite place to visit. Regina loved Diet Coke and shopping at ROSS “Regina’s Own Special Store”. She will be dearly loved and forever missed.

Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 pm on Saturday February 29, 2020 at Grace Covenant Church of God in New Ellenton, S.C.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3 pm.
