Robert "Bob" Wilson McGee, I

New Holland – Mr. Robert “Bob” Wilson McGee, I. 80, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday January 27, 2022.

Mr. Bob is the loving husband of Linda Jane Hadden McGee. They have been married for 56 years. He is the father of Robert “Bobby” Wilson McGee, II. Mr. Bob is the Pops of Robby Wilson McGee and Jacob Theron McGee. He is the son of the late Ernest Riley McGee and the late Bertha Mae Outz McGee. He is the brother of George Earl McGee and his wife Myrtle, the late Edward “Ed” Julian McGee, the late Jean Mizell, and the late Carolyn Carver and her husband the late John Carver. He is the brother-in-law of Charles Hadden and his wife Betty, Wayne Hadden and his wife Sharon, the late Ann Hadden, and the late Joyce Jackson.  He is the uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Bob was a hard worker. He was employed by Michelin, Graniteville Company, Gregg Dye Plant, and SRS where he retired in 2005. He is a member of New Holland Baptist Church. Mr. Bob enjoyed working in his garden, planting flowers, he especially loved roses.

Graveside service will be 2 pm on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at New Holland Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will follow the service. Rev. Owen McAllister will be ministering to the family.

The family asks that memorials be made to New Holland Baptist Church at 2279 New Holland Road, Wagener, SC 29164.
