Robin Abner Obituary

Ms. Robin Angela Abner, 62, went home to be with the Lord after a brief battle with cancer.

Robin is the mother of Joy Wilson Richardson (Wayne, II) and Carla Marie Brown (James Evans). She is the grandmother of Wayne Richardson, III, Brandon Richardson, Charlie Richardson, Courtney Johnson, and Robert Johnson. Robin is the daughter of James Abner and the late Netta Jerome Ward Stargel. She is the sister of Jeff Byrd (Myra), Jerry Byrd (Cindy Pierce), Deanne Clay McFatridge (Gary), and the late Janet Marie Corder (late Dewey).                                            

Robin loved watching the Hallmark Channel, collecting butterflies, listening to Christian music, and reading her Bible. She was also an avid Gamecock fan. Robin loved her family and will be greatly missed.

The family is planning a service to celebrate Robin’s life. An update will be made to announce service plans once they have been finalized.
