Roger Wahl

Mr. Roger Allen Wahl, 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Mr. Roger is the widow of Margaret Stokes Goolsby Wahl. He is the father of Allen Douglas Wahl and Susan Samuelsen. He is the grandfather of Megan Lynn Crawford and her husband Paul, and Cody Allen Wahl. Roger is the great grandfather of Anderson Wilson Stroud and Waylon Patrick Wahl. He is the brother of Cheryl McConnachie, the late Art Wahl, the late Wayne Wahl and the late Barbara Harms . His fur baby and best companion is Leia.

Roger was born on November 29, 1940, to the late Armond Edward Wahl and the late Ella Nora Banken Wahl.

Roger served his country proudly for 6 years in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing volleyball and coaching the Pelion High School JV and Varsity Panthers. He spent his time out tending to his many vegetables in his garden. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel, Wagener.  Funeral Service will be 11 am on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelion. Burial will follow at the Good Shepherd ELCA Church Cemetery, 202 Swansea Rd., Swansea, SC.
