Mr. Harry Sammy Hydrick, Sr., 77, entered into rest on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Sammy is the loving husband of Jennie Poole Hydrick. They have been married for 58 years. He is the father of Harry Sammy Hydrick, Jr. and James B. “Jimmy” Hydrick and his wife Hope. Sammy’s Grandbaby whom he loved dearly is Priscilla Garvin and her husband Seth. He is the Papa of Riley Jo Garvin and Seth “S.J.” Garvin, Jr. He is the grandfather of Daniel Moski and his wife Maria. Sammy is the son of the late George Byron Hydrick, Sr. and the late Lauriee Estell Ott Hydrick. He is the brother of Peggy Brazier and her husband the late Duane of Wagener, David Hydrick and his wife Cindy of Vancouver, WA, Bobby Hydrick of Wagener, the late George B. Hydrick, Jr. and his wife Irene of Lexington, the late Webb Hydrick and his wife Sara of Columbia, the late Jane Miller, the late Jacob Hydrick, and the late Jo-Ann Drew and her husband the late Jack. He is the brother-in-law of James Ray Poole and his wife Rhonda, Marie Malatesta and her husband David, and Libby Callahan and her husband Don of Salley. Sammy has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sammy’s honor to Clinton United Methodist Church – R&I Fund or the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will honor Sammy’s life with a private service.
