Terry Jenkins

West Columbia – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mr. Richard Terrell “Terry” Jenkins, who left us peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the age of
74.

Left to cherish Terry’s memories are his daughters: Dawn Michelle Werda and her husband Larry Marine, and Chelie Marie Mujica-Gillespie, grandchildren: Shelby Claire Werda,
Eric Jordon Mujica, and Corey Richard Mujica, great grandson, Sterling Noah Mujica, siblings: Edgar Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Chandrakala, Debra Kierepka, Sherry Vargo, and Tracy Miller,
Dawn and Chelie’s mother, Sandra S. Jenkins, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry was born on October 11, 1950, to the late Edgar Jenkins, Sr. and the Pauline Purvis Jenkins. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Verdine Jenkins, and his brother-in-law,
Thomas Vargo.

He lived a life filled with love, hard work, and kindness. A devoted father, he was our constant source of wisdom, patience, and unwavering support.

Terry was affectionately known by his friends and family as “T.J. Swaney”.

Rest in peace, Dad. Your love will guide us always. The Jenkins family will honor Terry’s life with a private celebration of life.
