Theron "Terry" Ross Yon, Jr.

Mr. Theron “Terry” Ross Yon, Jr. 48, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Terry was educated in the Lexington Public schools and attended Midlands TEC.  He was employed by Walmart in Lexington as an Associate and was also sent to stores that needed special help when they remodeled or expanded.  He always did more than expected to help his coworkers and the company.

Terry enjoyed shooting guns, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He never met a stranger and was always kind, helpful with a smile and a friendly greeting.  He loved his family, his friends and his Lord.  He will be sorely missed, but, always dearly loved. 

Terry is survived by his three children Theron “Terry” Royston Yon, Tirion “Ty” Ross Yon and Sarah A. Yon and by his partner Joni Miller, Sarah’s mom. Terry is the son of Theron “Terry” Ross Yon, Sr. (Carolyn) and Laurie Marie Joye.  His brother is Todd Richard Yon.  All of Lexington County.

He is preceded in death by his sons’ mother, Brandi Mize, and his paternal grandparents Harold and Frances Yon and maternal grandparents Vincent and Margret Spaulding and Milbourne Joye.

He has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins all South Carolinians.

Graveside Funeral Services will be private with interment in the Wagener Cemetery, Wagener, SC.
