Tony Bell

Mr. Tony Bell, 66, entered into rest Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Mr. Tony is the husband of Gloria Williams Bell, they have been married for 48 years. He is the father of Brandy Bell Walker and her husband Paul, Sr., Kristy Bell Backman and her husband Adam, and Grant Kirkland Bell and his wife Cayce. Mr. Tony is the grandfather of Sharolynn, P.J., Mia, Fallyn, and Clayton Walker, Callie and Ivy Backman, Joseph, Brody, and Grayson Bell. He is the great grandfather of Delta and Clementine “Clem” Lemus. He is the brother of Tommy Bell and his wife Nancy and Jerry Bell and his wife Rita. He is the brother-in-law of Olin Williams and his wife Phyllis, Dianne Still her husband Phillip, and Margie Troutman and her husband Jerry. Mr. Tony is the son of the late Eldon Bell and the late Christine Spires Bell.

Mr. Tony was an employee of SCE&G for 38 years. He started as a lineman and was promoted to Superintendent. After retiring from SCE&G, Mr. Tony worked for D&T Steel. Mr. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a Mason with the Cedar Lodge #184 of Wagener. Mr. Tony is a member of Convent Baptist Church. He will be forever loved and missed.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be 3 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Convent Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Crumpton officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The Bell family requests that funeral attendees wear Clemson colors in honor of Mr. Tony.
