Wagener – Mrs. Kathryn Virginia Carver Jackson, 78, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, May 28, 2021.
Mrs. Virginia is the wife of the late Leonard J.H. Jackson. She is the loving mother of Tony Jackson (Lisa), Deirdre Jackson Allen, Rev. Jody Jackson (Tracy), and the late Vickie Lynn Jackson Rawls (David). Mrs. Virginia is the grandmother of Brittany Jackson, Casey A. Jackson, Chelsea Marie Wong (Sam), Justin Allen, Kaitlyn Allen, Lauren Allen, Shelby Bernard (Jordan), and Miranda Rawls. She is the great grandmother of Emma Wong, Kasey Jackson, and Autumn Jackson. Mrs. Virginia is the sister of Eileen Marsh (Ed), Linda Hawkins, the late Ray Carver (Mary), and the late Helen Redd (Paul). She is the daughter of the late Claude Terrill Carver and the late Isolene Cox Carver. Her special friend was Billy Taylor, who showed her the fun things in life.
Mrs. Virginia is a member of New Holland Pentecostal Holiness Church where she faithfully attended and served. She was a Sunday school teacher, youth choir director, and leader of women’s ministry.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be 11 am on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at New Holland Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Jody Jackson and Rev. Virgil Parsons will be ministering.
